EIA Training - Chief Guest, Syed Yawar Bukhari
The Chief Guest, Mr. Syed Yawar Bukhari, Provincial Minister of Social Welfare and Bait ul Mal, addressed the participants and media. He commended the collaboration between the Government (EPA) and Non-Government Organizations (CDC) and said that their cooperation will bring a greater impact. He spoke with the participants on the importance of social welfare and stressed on the empowerment of women and the underprivileged. He believed that they are an asset to the country. He concluded his address by highlighting the role of the corporate sector in social welfare, and encouraged the participants, mostly from the corporate sector, to take steps for the training and employment of underprivileged locals, which will not only benefit the community but also the corporate sector
